I really dislike using D&D Beyond. It's not laid out in a way that helpful to me and how I parse out D&D. That's not a problem, because I have my books and I have a great template in Google docs that works for me, the player.

When a dated file name is required, I use YYYTMMDD in front of the file name like a civilised person. That means that every new year, I have a little struggle to acclimate to typing the new year in the date because I'm weird like that.

Going out last night meant that I wasn't maintaining the wood stove. I tried my overnight routine (top it off and choke down the airflow for slow burning) but I guess I didn't close it enough because the wood was consumed and the stove cooling when I returned.
