Would expect nothing less from you Dave, it is a great feeling when family history skills have this type of outcome.
Not wishing to blow my own trumpet, but I received a query this morning from a researcher in the Netherlands for info about Capt. Robert Gordon Hogg and, before the day is out, I've hopefully put them in touch with his only daughter 🙂🎺

I didn't think I had any pictures I could use for day 16 of #31DaysOfGraves, with the theme of #Obelisk. But I present here a sea of obelisks, at Edgerton Cemetery in #Huddersfield. A few of my ancestors are buried here, but with rather more modest gravestones.

For day 15 of #31DaysOfGraves the theme is #Damaged. This picture was taken outside St Paul’s Concert Hall in #Huddersfield. It was formerly St Paul’s Church, where my great-grandparents, Thomas Henry Dyson and Elizabeth Townend, were married in 1889.

Fascinating to read, particularly the incredible number of woollen textile companies hoping to attract school leavers. Such massive change in 75 years.
