Oh, yeah. For decades, Chicago’s Greek tragedies have only been published in multiple volumes by author & small multi-author anthologies. Now we have the whole shebang, all the key plays, in a big paperback. And it’s only $25!

At your local bookstore momentarily.

Finally, we get a case to test whether a prosecutor can indeed get a grand jury to indict a (ham) sandwich.
The DC sandwich guy has been charged with assault for shouting at a CBP officer, throwing a sub into his chest, and then running off.

"I did it. I threw the sandwich," he said while he was being processed.

This Civil War veteran, stepping up to give a rebel yell, called his fellow Confederate soldiers "Confeds" and I think I'll start using that word for the many outlaws in the Trump regime.

Top Al Jazeera journalist Anas al-Sharif has been killed by Israel in Gaza in what appears to be an assassination.

He was one of the few journalists left alive in Gaza after Israel have killed 232 other journalists in less than 2 years.

He is the 233rd.

Today marks the 60th anniversary of the passage of the Voting Rights Act. The beginning of true democracy in America. A offering to this country paid for by the work, dedication and lives of ordinary Black people.

We’ve always had to fight. Are you prepared to fight to protect our rights?

Why can Mitch McConnell say that when it comes to spending cuts to Medicaid, Americans would "get over it"?

Because we got over what he himself did with Merrick Garland's and Amy Coney Barrett's nominations and with Trump's impeachment trial.

Americans are complicit in America's demise.

Upon returning Abrego Garcia, DHS asked Judge Xinis to stay all deadlines because his case was moot. She hasn't yet ruled on that request.

Today, DHS asked her again.

Kilmar's lawyers have until tomorrow, June 11, to file for sanctions for DHS's continuing discovery violations. 👀

Today's court filing in the Abrego Garcia case states that attorney Erez Reuveni "has left the Department of Justice."

In early April, DOJ pulled Reuveni off the case and put him on leave for not zealously representing the government.

(He was too honest when answering the judge's questions.)

A new court filing in the Abrego Garcia case says attorney Erez Reuveni "has left the Department of Justice."

In early April, Reuveni was pulled off the case and put on leave for his candor with the court, or for not zealously representing the government, depending on how you look at things.

(D.V.D. v) DHS: Don't let them subpoena DoD. We have all the facts re DoD's removal to El Salvador after your Mar 28 Order said DON'T.

Also DHS: We sent them to Guantanamo Mar 29-30. DoD sent them on Mar 31 maybe? We weren't there, and we def didn't tell them to do it.

But we know what DoD knows.🙄
