None of this is surprising really. Glad there is reporting on it.

Retirees have shown up in huge numbers at rallies because they have the freedom to demonstrate and speak out publicly against Trump without fear of losing jobs or related benefits. But there are many other ways to make noise like this!
Some of the most respected Chicago journalists in modern history came together to pen a letter decrying the terror being waged by the federal government against area residents.

Why the Day 2 stories that end up on p. 19 are often the real news. Let’s make sure this gets the front page attention it deserves!
NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

Clark: So what are we doing here today? You have already voted to dismantle medicaid, the largest health care program in America. A program that covers 40% of all births in this country. 40% of children in this country. 40% of disabled people in this country.

I've said it over and over again; these are not normal times.

Trump is illegally refusing to fund SNAP and is now asking states to UNDO any work to feed hungry Americans amidst the funding lapse.

There is nothing normal about a regime that fights to keep its people hungry.
