Cloudflare outage on November 18, 2025
Cloudflare suffered a service outage on November 18, 2025. The outage was triggered by a bug in generation logic for a Bot Management feature file causing many Cloudflare services to be affected.

I'm actively considering getting the @zed.dev pro subscription.
Except: they mention nowhere on their side how to cancel the subscription again. That feels too much like a red flag to me.

🦀 I've improved the implementation behind all the string formatting macros in Rust: println, panic, format, write, log::info, etc. (Everything using format_args!().) They will compile a bit faster, use a bit less memory while compiling, result in smaller binaries, and produce more efficient code! 🎉

The continuously scrolling output of ai agents is the closest thing that we have right now to the matrix code on everybody’s screen.

@zed.dev has anybody ever brought up a text to speech feature? Sometimes with really long running agent sessions, it would be nice to just listen to it talking to itself instead of having to read the con constantly scrolling output for 10 minutes.
Using Claude for the first time in a while and boy is it eager. It just won’t stop.

At this point, I would almost like my editor to have text to speech so that I can just listen to it talking to itself while I’m doing something else.

On my way to the last halloween-party I got quite the chuckle out of seeing kids with fake beards, because I had decided to completely shave mine off for my costume.

Also: I think I might have ironed out a few of the linking issues people where having.

So go and have fun with it!!!

Trying to roll out a new version of crates.io/crates/mac-n.... But can any body recommend if a crate like this should build its objective-c deps with or without the -fmodules flag?

Are there any @matrix.org wizards out there? We (the Rust Embedded WG) are on a very old room version (v5 I think?), and are considering upgrading, but have heard some horror stories of migration before. We have ~3500 people in the room, and are really afraid of causing interruption to that.

Nope. Not getting used to the new iPhone pro design even after seeing the leaks for weeks. And the choice of colors does not make it better either.

TFW: you find a new crate on @thisweekinrust.bsky.social and go check it out and it already lists you as a contributor 😲

Happended to me with github.com/saphyr-rs/sa... which is a fork of a fork of yaml-rust.

Glad that somebody picked it up and improved it. Looking forward to saphyr-serde!
