This is a topic that requires a lot more nuance than a bsky skeet can allow, but the last several games I was excited for got review bombed for absolutely insane, unrelated to the game reasons. Maybe we need to re-think letting gamers post day 1 reviews.

Bluh. I wish I weren't awful at keeping in touch with people and going out and doing stuff. I hate the push and pull of feeling lonely and isolated but also too nervous to go out to public places or parties or whatever. I hate needing to like...build up a running start just to function normally.

After re-playing FFXI to experience the Xpacs I missed, I've gone from wishing Puppetmaster would be put into XIV to realizing if they did it would just be watered down to hell. Such a unique, interesting, and versatile class just could not exist in XIV's format. I mean look at what they did to BLU

Ooo, the new XIV raid based on FFXI has the Airship fight? They must have someone who played XI in the 75 era helping guide these choices. Picking Airship over the final Promethia fight is definitely a "You had to have been there to understand" decision.

I grossly underestimated just how triggering father's day would be for me, on top of some difficult news with my career and just generally feeling kind of adrift in life. I guess I slipped back into isolating myself without realizing.
