Pretty much, I ran into them a lot growing up in the state and once you're in their system they just LOVE to run your plates and pull you over for everything.
I hope he'll be okay, things have just been rough for my family recently and I'm not taking it the best =\

I want to play PUP. I don't want to gear a BLM for AoE, a THF for TH, a WAR for Abyssea, A healer for group content, etc etc etc. Especially in a 20 year old MMO that's layers and layers and layers of old content that relies on even older content to access.

I'm framing this as a negative. But it's really a consequence of XIV's approach to job design and content. Sure, XIV's jobs all feel and play fairly similar, but at least every job can -do- the content. 99 era XI ultimately lost me when I finished the story and was told to level/gear 4~5 more jobs.

You're -probably- right, but I'm still holding out hope for Bubbly Bernie as the final boss lol
