I was entirely too optimistic when I put "coming in December 2025" in my DOS jam entry, forgetting December was historically a crap show.
But I'm off for the rest of the year and just played Skyroads end to end, so it's looking up.

Nice, fixed an annoying bug in Europa - the music code conflicted with keyboard handler, so I'd disable the latter when changing music... which lost key state. If you tried holding down a key while entering a room, you'd run into this. I might push a demo update rather than wait for 1.0.

This, paired with the brick tile wallpaper, was one of my favorite themes as a kid. It made me think of summer.
We only had 16 colors, but we could set them however we liked.

I went on a little emotional journey tonight. A PS/1 monitor arrived, allegedly via a former IBM staff who had kept it. It was clearly dropped hard during transit. The bottom plate was deformed, controls bent in, housing cracked.
I got it straightened out, and so far, it's alive, controls and all!

Since I worked out the web DosBox and broke the ice on itch, I'm tempted to put some of my earlier DOS games there punish a new generation.
