One of the things I find frustrating about sci-fi is that because of the American influence of it, all of the planets are called things like Zexion 5 and Danshassia 7. I’d call them things like ‘Nether Roundthorpe’ and ‘Spheresbury’. Gravity Bywell. Chalfont St Globeby. Bishop’s Goitre.

'The Tiger', the outfit was inspired by Samus' and the idea that S-IIs can take on missions that don't require MJOLNIR. Like a Terminator, she could just jump from a rooftop and walk into a nightclub.

The Spartan karate gear looks vaguely like SPI.
Something I noticed from Patlabor/Spriggan was some helmets looked kinda like boxing headgear. There's other reasons but, this one is fun to point out.
