Love is a beautiful noun.
But love is best when it’s a verb.

Grief is very much like having a painful period. You’re suffering inside but you’ve gotta push through the day and be a functioning human.

Stop asking your therapist friends/acquaintances “any crazy cases?” Our clients lives are real and raw just like ours. I will not share the vulnerable details of their lives for you to have a shock and awe moment. #mentalhealth #therapist

Ugh, I love my clients and job so much. I’m so proud of the work they put into themselves.

Apparently breaking a spark plug is almost impossible. So now ya know, with me, anything’s possible 😉

Anticipatory grief is like dropping a rock into an unknown well. You know for certain it will eventually reach the bottom, but you have no idea when. There are moments and sometimes days that life seems normal, sans-grief. Other days it engulfs you…your day…your existence…your core being.

Vito beat out nearly 2,000 other dogs to become the first pug to win the National Dog Show. The two-year-old pup became a sensation on Thursday, when the competition, which was held earlier this month, was broadcast on NBC after the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. www.nytimes.com/2024/11/29/u...

Hannah was the first friend I made in grad school for social work. She continued to help me through my first year with her humor, kindness, and perspective on life. She is an incredible human who does not deserve this obstacle in life. Please consider donating anything you can to help her.

3 weeks since my last run and ran 2.32 miles with no knee pain 🥲 progress! #running

One of the many PT exercises to help me get back to #running. Straight leg lifts - sit up or laying down. Make sure you lock your knee completely and don’t lift too high. I could barley do 30 reps when I started PT and I’m up to 70 now 🙂

Week ✌🏼 of knee rehab and already getting stronger. Tomorrow I run for the first time to test how far I can go.

I told my parents about my day and they typically end the day with a glass of wine but my dad went ahead and poured me a glass of whisky 🥃
