Those of us electing for Covid shots are protecting ourselves AND reducing impacts - and therefore costs - on our health care system. This is truly a headshake moment.

Albertans who want to continue to protect themselves from the COVID-19 virus will have to pay out of pocket for it starting in the fall of 2025, the province announced on Friday.

Campaign time is funny. After 27 days, I feel like I've been doing this for years.

That reflects just how much the team has done. A huge thank you to the 100s of volunteers who have talked to 10s of 1000s of residents - and given so generously of their time.

It means the world.

Every election, we also hold a vote for the kids to decide what's for dinner.

We do this to explain democracy (you don't always get what you want, you always get your say) & to expose the kids to how easy it is to vote.

My door-knocking crew for the @coreyhogan.ca blitz day in Varsity.

Liberal signs deployed: 20

Conservative signs spotted: 2

Number of locals who stopped us on the street for a sign: 3

Volunteers deployed across the riding: too many to count (but there’s always room for more).

Our provincial government is committed to taxing Calgarians without providing corresponding investment back into our city. @thecalgaryparty.bsky.social is ready to address the imbalance.
Danielle Smith is back at it. This time it's costing you an avg of $239/yr on your property tax bill in the form of an education property tax.

Enough is enough. The Calgary Party is committed to ensure your property tax $$s stay in Calgary and fund our city's priorities.

She's taking our money, and what do we have to show for it? Her government screwing our Green Line?

In the middle of a housing crisis, the AB government is dead set on making it harder for people to buy a home. Budget 2025:
- Increases land transfer fees by 250%
- Increases mortgage registration fees by 333%
- Raises property taxes by $239 on a median Calgary home

Calgary is an OLYMPIC City and we lack the facilities to host a softball competition for youth. A shameful admission.

When are we going to stop treating housing like it's pollution? This is an appalling outcome.
There are always consequences to Council decisions.

Today, with one vote, 7 Councillors voted down policy amendments that would have enabled more than 650 homes to be built.

650 homes for 650 families today.

And countless more in the future.

Enhancing pedestrian crossing opportunities with longer and more frequent signals would be a good start to making our city more walkable and safer for all!
