It’s hard to beat My Stubborn when there were simply so many that went on for so long but I do think my pick for most effective spice, so to speak, is Khemjira. Boy Next World has to get some credit for me having to frantically turn the volume down, though…thanks Noeul. #BL2025Wrapped
I saw some complaints about the slight changes to Caleb’s backstory in The Mighty Nein, especially the lead into the primary event, but I think it’s really smart to make it an entirely mundane manipulation because we’re seeing the same thing happen to Essek in real time, albeit to a smaller degree

I saw some post talking about the prose in a lot of fic is boring bc all the writers are reading each other and it just becomes an echo chamber which is somewhat true, but I also think fanfiction as a genre generally asks for a more utilitarian style
