This was the exact reasoning Bhutan (country in South Asia) used to justify ethnic cleansing an actual 15% of it's population in the 70s I believe. Like. They did it. Past tense. Those people are dead or forcibly expelled from the country and are now stateless.

This is really well put I think
but the issue is there SHOULDN'T be a single app that does everything and that everyone is on. That's how you run into these kind of situations. Discord replaced forums, voice chat services, and live text chat services with convenience and now they are showing why having swappable parts is best

One of the things I like about using the browser for as many things as possible instead of applications is history. With the exception of like Xiao Hong shu the browser memory is way way better at recalling specific videos I've watched or things I've clicked on.

DO NOT install bazzite or any other "immutable" linux distro. you WILL eventually want to do something (even just changing the system theme to something custom) and you WILL be locked out of doing that because these distros DO NOT RESPECT YOUR FREEDOM
