Once archaeologist. Delver into the obscure. Paper-records miner. A voter. Interested in exploring how humanitarian, social, and ecosystem values can be linked to economic and market values. I liked the climate better when it was in the low 300s ppm.

Govt of Canada...
Get off X
This happened a while ago, but am I the only one who thinks Canadian government departments should not be on X?
Why are they supporting a far-right platform full of bots, disinformation and election interference? #cdnpoli

I say... Deal the deal!
Cost per hr:
Gripen - $5,800
F35 - $35,000.
Lets say 1000hrs per year per plane.
Gripen - $5,800,000
F35 - $35,000,000
72 planes
Gripen - $417,600,000
F35 - $2,520,000,000
Gripen savings - $2,102,400,000 per year.
That's $2.1 billion per year saved.
There is far more to this than jobs.
Saab is offering the intellectual property and full control of the Gripens we buy.
That alone should be enough to seal the deal.
The Canadian companies that make parts for the F35 could easily make parts for the Gripen.

Be woke, for gosh darn sake.

This should be concerning to all Canadians: Ksi Lisims isn't just bad for the climate, energy bills and food security; it's also a threat to Canadian sovereignty, being entirely owned by US MAGA shitlords. You know, the folks who want to make Canada the 51st state. Well, it's kinda happening—via LNG

How can the NDP reconnect with voters?

Scrap the focus-tested messaging. Communicate directly with passion and substance. And start advocating for solutions as big as the crises we face in ways people can understand.

PM Carney is playing a game of chicken with Canadians during the worst cost of living crisis in a generation.

Port Moody–Coquitlam deserves a Member of Parliament who shows up.

Nobody wants an election but if PM Carney forces one then the #NDP in our riding will be ready.

A fragment of a mask that was preserved for hundreds of years in permafrost sat in the muck of a low tide in the western Alaska community of Quinhagak. Wooden spoons, toys, a fishing lure and other artifacts were strewn, in some cases for miles, along the beach.

Watch the non-answer from the Liberal Gov. Corporate greed is driving food prices out of control. Record numbers of Canadians are relying on food banks and are food insecure.

This Liberal government is not meeting the moment while Canadians go hungry.
