This is the history that we stand to lose if the Trump administration is allowed to continue to dismantle and gut the National Park Service. Thanks to Ashley Whitehead Luskey for writing this brutally honest and deeply personal op-ed. #NationalParks www.historians.org/perspectives...

Reader, for my first #AHAReads task I intended to read one chapter from this @zelizer.bsky.social volume. I ended up reading 10 and am still going. Highly recommended.

For the next task: Babel by ‪@rfkuang.bsky.social‬. Several @historians.org staff are planning to read this together.
It's time for #AHAReads, brainchild of @lmansley.bsky.social and launched by AHA staff a few years ago b/c we like to read and wanted a fun thing to do together over the summer.

I'm reading an essay from @zelizer.bsky.social's edited volume The Presidency of Donald J. Trump for my first task.
With the arrival of June comes the launch of #AHAReads, our fourth annual summer reading challenge! What are you reading? 🗃️

Hear me out. It might be a good time to better understand American Constitutional history. And @historians.org has a series of booklets covering Constitutional topics such as judicial review, political parties, and immigration. They are about 50–70 pages, so a quick read. (And teachable!) 🗃️
