i just don't think the mewgenics stuff matters. an indie self-published dev getting a few shitty people who likely weren't even paid to do a semi-anonymous single meow is not the same as employing a pest's likeness to a character of a huge game or using a money empire to lobby against trans people

apparently it was a conscious creative choice to just put a clashing cast of weirdos and problematic semi-famous people. and i don't think this is an invalid creative choice either on its own. all that matters is whether this causes real world harm and on what scale. kick the moralism to the curb
