“Racism has become thoroughly detached from “serious” politics”
It has been reduced to language.
So, instead of fearing accusations of racism, politicians now exploit them as petty, name-calling distractions from what really matters.
It’s an ugly, cynical deceit.

No shame, no opprobrium: racism is priced in now. Of all the right’s victories, this one has been critical | Jason Okundaye
In this age of Tory nativism and Faragist populism, the question isn’t ‘is this person a bigot’? Now it is ‘does that matter at all?’ says Guardian writer Jason Okundaye

He now appears to have vanished.

Starmer is the Antichrist in their minds. He beat a system that was totally rigged against him, and he beat all of their favourite heroes and they can’t stand it.

So now all they will do is just poison the water. They’ve moved onto the AG now for doing his job and Reeves will get a break.

You will never succeed at fighting right wing disinfo with facts. Right wingers believe the first thing they hear & they'll believe it for life. They'll fight to the death about some inconsequential bullshit they just heard 5 seconds ago. You beat them by calling them weird assholes & isolating them

It doesn’t get clearer than this. CDU chancellor candidate Merz excludes any cooperation with AFD “this would mean selling the CDU’s soul”.

It actually annoys me more the more I think about it. The last time Farage had any fucking political capital, he used it to drag the country into the Brexit Disaster, and now they want to let him have access to the infinite resources of Elon Musk? Are they fucking insane?

"Labour doesn't have a narrative". Yes it does. It keeps talking about "fixing the foundations". That's the narrative. You might not think it's the right one, or that they're not putting it out enough, but it's there. It basically translates as "give us time".
