Princess Mononoke has a special place in my heart not just for the incredible folkloric experience that it is, but also because there's a lot of complex ideas of who is a hero or villain and coexistence. This is the first one that I think really broadened my sense of nuanced characters.

🩸Tyro never really had a need for it since he could just take what he wanted unnoticed. That changed when he became responsible for others, even then he would just steal money :P But when the Mistress died, he inherited a SHITLOAD of money that he doesn't know what to do with.
