Remember the recent middle-of-the-night apartment building raid where children were dragged outside naked & zip-tied in the street while black & Latino residents were _sorted by race_ and piled into separate vans while their apartments were ransacked & robbed? That raid? So it resulted in 0 arrests.

The actual question is: Why didn't she defend the human rights and dignity of immigrants even a little bit? Why didn't she show spine, conviction, or leadership on a critical issue that her would-be voters cared passionately about? WHY DIDN'T SHE RUN *AGAINST* TRUMP, NOT *AS* TRUMP???

The final plea PAPERWORK was manipulated to pick just one victim -- and his lawyers made sure they chose the oldest one so that it didn't look so bad. But the girl who came forward first to police was 14 -- and the list of other victims attached to that deal included many young girls.

Man spent 36 years in prison for a rape and attempted murder that he didn’t commit, topping the list of exonerees with the longest incarcerations. Baton Rouge, La. police investigating the crime showed the victim photo lineups. On the fourth occasion, she homed in on one man whom she said looked “most” like the assailant, though she “could not positively say.” She later picked him out on the fifth set of photo lineups and then a physical lineup. Fingerprints at the scene didn’t match his—and when the state finally re-ran them in 2019, they implicated someone else. Fifth Circuit (unpublished): The photo lineups were constitutional because the victim “exhibited a level of certainty.” (Ed. note: You may enjoy his take on Blackbird.)
