The Supreme Court decision opens up a slippery slope. How long until every provider who provides the full range of reproductive care, including abortions, is barred from accepting Medicaid patients? Will pressure be put on entire hospital and clinic systems next?

Signal for classified attack plans against Houthi rebels.

Now, Gmail for “sensitive military positions and powerful weapons systems relating to an ongoing conflict.”

Might as well shout it from the rooftops.

The carelessness is staggering – and makes all of us less safe.

@schumer.senate.gov This really annoys me. NYT states that dems had two choices: pass the GOP budget resolution OR “ALLOW” a government shutdown. The GOP is in control. They could have done many things, and by not, they were allowing for the chance of a shutdown

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Gov’t shutdowns are bad for everyone. In the before times, I’d have been livid w/ any Democrat who would rather allow a shutdown than vote for a budget. “Take the L!” I’d have said. “Avert the shutdown, we can fix this later!”

That was then. Schumer caved on a literally dangerous budget. FUCK HIM

You can’t cut the amount of money Republicans are calling for out of the Energy and Commerce Committee without cutting Medicaid - a program vital for women and children’s health.

Don’t let them gaslight you.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.
