Voters want both: homes built and wildlife protected.

MPs should listen to the public, not a false "nature vs growth" narrative.

If nature loses at this stage, it will be because they chose not to protect it.

Tell your MP to back nature: action.rspb.org.uk/page/180990/... 📢
Help stop the Planning and Infrastructure Bill tearing up nature protections
I've just emailed my MP and asked them to vote to protect nature in the Planning and Infrastructure Bill. Will you take action too?

The Planning Bill is back in Parliament today.‼️

From the start, it’s been controversial: risking damage to precious wildlife and habitats.

Peers reduced some of those risks.

Now MPs get to vote: keep those protections, or strip them out.

The Government says this Bill is about growth, but there’s no long-term growth if nature is weakened. ‼️

Peers can change that today by backing science and backing nature.

This matters for everyone who cares about the future.

We’ll be watching... & our assessment will follow.

The Planning and Infrastructure Bill, also known as the 'pay-to-destroy" Bill, is being debated again in the @houseoflords.parliament.uk. We have created a briefing outlining why this piece of legislation will undermine wildlife protection without benefiting anyone cdn.bats.org.uk/uploads/pdf/...
Today #HouseOfLords continues with the #PlanningBill, with amendments aiming for positive impacts for climate & nature, inc. ensuring developments provide access to green & blue spaces, proposals to place a climate duty on planning decisions, and protections for chalk streams
