Who from the current administration winds up seeing prison time? Hegseth, Bondi, Patel?

So the one to 25,000 bad apples in the NYPD are "self-deporting?" What a great way to weed out the most prejudiced assholes. Congratulations, New York City!

Really looking forward to the Speaker of the House claiming to be unaware of the election results.

FUN FACT:

My favorite part of tonight's election results is that all three of the major trump endorsements (Ciattarelli, Miyares, and Cuomo) LOST bigly.

And trump handed out 53 down-ballot endorsements in New Jersey and Virginia. THEY ALL LOST.

Every. Last. One.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 81st day out of the last 93.

12 days of work in over 3 months.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

It’s a beautiful day to be demonstrating in Chicago. “Get up! Get down! Chicago is a union town!” Happy Labor Day, all!

The last three articles I read today:

1) Mormon women finally get sleeveless sacred underwear
2) Europe postal services refuse to ship packages to the US because of a lack of clarity about how to handle new tarrifs
3) Trump claims to know more about Grass than any other person on the planet

It has cooled down to a lovely 78 degrees with a light breeze and golden afternoon sunlight filtering through the leaves. The cicadas and the songbirds are singing. It’s almost good enough to make me forget for a moment that there’s a psycho in the White House. Almost.

There’s renewable energy ads and there’s mother**cking wind farm ads. This, blissfully, is the latter.

Ex-farm worker here.

We need to talk about this whole "But a living wage for farm workers would spike the cost of food!" thing.

Not true AT ALL.

Y'all don't understand how fast experienced farm workers are.

The average tomato picker pulls 650lbs per hour.

At $20/hr, that's $0.03/lb for labor.

Congrats to Lisa Murkowski on voting for a bill that she herself admitted was not ready in hopes that the House would change it. Now it’ll become law. She had the power to stop it, and instead chose to become complicit. That’s her legacy.
