Yes, happy Buster Crabbe's birthday, indeed! Seeing that photo immediately flashes me back to Frank Frazetta's famous portrait which appeared on the back cover of Wally Wood's Witzend #1 in 1966. The pose isn't identical, but the spirit is very much the same.
