I wish people hated fascism half as much as they hate feminism

I’m puzzled as to why anyone, even Democrats who voted for him, expected him to suddenly become more courageous.
Marco Rubio's collaboration with Russia's Sergei Lavrov and Putin is one of the most disgusting acts of betrayal to democracy and our nation. Rubio has secured his place in history of infamy.

I strongly disagree with equating being a law-abiding worker with one's humanity. Everyone is human, regardless of their legal status. Despite this, the rest of the post is accurate—Trump recently terminated protected status for hundreds of thousands seeking political asylum.
unfortunately for these folks the odds are that they aren’t going to go after violent criminals at all — too hard — and going to go exclusively over the easiest targets, which are law abiding workers
"No one ever thought that this would happen. I thought that the administration was going after violent criminals, but these people are innocent, honest, hardworking people. These are human beings." www.inquirer.com/news/philade...

If my representatives communicated like you, it wouldn't be so frustrating. But the silence is what drives me mad right now.

The question is, how far can Musk go before the GOP finally says, "Enough!"?
Yes. While there are absolutely things Democrats can and must do to slow, obstruct, etc, GOP hold both House and Senate majorities, severely limiting our options.

Johnson and Thune are handing over the own keys and relinquishing their own power. Even for the cynics this should be a shock.
We all like to yell at the Democrats, but it’s really Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune who are letting Elon Musk and his faceless goon squad make a mockery of their power as leaders of a coequal branch without uttering a peep or lifting a finger.

This is unfortunate.
"Coristine, as WIRED previously reported, appears to have recently graduated from high school and to have been enrolled at Northeastern University. According to a copy of his resume obtained by WIRED, he spent three months at Neuralink, Musk’s brain-computer interface company, last summer."

ME: *writing in my journal with the sole aim of pissing off future historians and archaeologists* I returned to my home - which is built in the usual style - by the normal way, and prepared and ate dinner in the way I often but not always do

Even one is too many, no matter how much time passes. This situation is deeply disturbing, evil, and frightening.
Since last Monday, ICE had arrested 2681 migrants. At this rate, ICE will complete their mission in 91.66 years, when my 11 year old daughter is 102.66 years old. #Efficiency

Honestly, officer, I pointed the gun just to scare her. I didn’t realize it was loaded, and I was frightened for my own safety.
Welcome to the resistance

I reply “hell yeah” to a lot of mushroom photos because when I see a picture of a mushroom a little voice in my head goes “hell yeah” and then I type that and hit send

"People Have the Power" by Patti Smith is a powerful anthem.
I hope y’all aren't trying to fight fascism without the appropriate playlist. Whether I'm boxing or strategizing, I'm listening to Kendrick.

“Music helps reduce pain by activating sensory pathways that compete with pain pathways, stimulating emotional responses, and engaging cognitive attention.”
Study Assesses Pain Relieving Benefits from Music
Distraction is a proven pain reliever, and a new study reported in The Journal of Pain concludes that listening to music can be effective for reducing pain
