Legit question: Why is Dragon Quest so good as a series? Other than the fact it brought in the age of the console RPG... I'm trying to play through them and I've yet to beat one without a walkthrough or a cheat code. The grind is unbearable, you're stuck without any clue on...

I just started getting SNAP benefits this month, and they will soon dry up. If this isn't fixed soon, I'll have to extend my fundraiser again and hope people aren't sick of me yet.
