To be clear, if a military vessel tries to flee an engagement (say, to rejoin its fleet), you can fire on it again. But if what the WSJ is saying, then Bradley and his JAG tormented that logic to inanity - and I'd bet they did so because they were trying to conform to Hegseth's orders.

Republican candidate won a very close special election in Tennessee. Dems staying on a strong progressive message is the big story, forcing Republicans to spend more than they should have—Trump took this state by 22 points last year. Dems lost election, but this is a huge shift ahead of midterms.
