I once rang Hotel Doolin to ask them if I could use their loos for a group of just arrived Syrian families who were on a day trip across Clare and when we arrived they had muffins & hot chocolates ready for all the children and teas and coffees and scones for the adults ready in their barn.
The same company/family run Hotel Doolin and The Armada in Clare, they are the absolute real deal never missing a chance to support their communities whatever way they can: this from them this morning-

Just heartbroken for these animals🐴💔
So many other horses aren’t as lucky as these 2 being evacuated walking into high winds through blowing embers. There’s no way to get horse trailers in & out with abandoned cars making roads impassable. Just these 2 people alone have 12 more horses left behind😢😭
