when i do connect this way with new people, it sure helps to balance the loss of friendships, even longstanding ones, for no good reason. it helps me remember who i am. so, cherish those good connections, cherish those who "see" you and marvel at the love that in so many forms lights our hearts.

when you connect with someone deeply in a very short time, it's one of life's true delights. it can have a meant to happen quality, but more importantly two people can partake in the gift of "seeing" — seeing deeply who's there, seeing a person as a gift. this is highly affirming for both.

Once I get my time machine fired up and change all of my genes and stumble upon a few hundred thousand dollars so I can workout for half of every day, I’ll look exactly like Charli XCX. Aaany day now.

NEW: Analysis finds UK's age verification rollout is producing exactly the opposite of the desired effect:

Driving traffic non-compliant adult sites.

Which punishes compliant ones.

Entirely predictable.

That's not the worst part 1/

Deeply fascinated by the new wave band Trent Reznor used to play with in the 1980’s and how everyone looks so incredibly 80’s except for Trent Reznor who looks exactly the same as he always has to the point where he might as well have time traveled

Honestly the most outrageous new change at Cracker Barrel is that, when you fail at the peg game, it says there's "no reason to be embarrassed" instead of calling you an "eg-no-ra-moose." Our country is in tatters

I’ve been a fan of PC Music for ages. I listened to everything they’d released on repeat during a pivotal London trip in 2014. Now I have a (half-British) kid who’s almost seven and she requested that we listen to Hannah Diamond today 💎
