You want to read about how witchcraft practice aligns with cultural movements or how claims of Satanic possession align with hyper-conservative swings, read my book. It is more than just a list of witch movies. It is a cultural history: gender, politics, religion, rebellion, liberation, & industry.
If a politician's aim is just to stay in office, they will not have the passion to restore our democracy. Their only passion is to do what is needed to get re-elected. Their constituents are votes not people. No party is immune.

We need leaders now more than ever, not leeches.

I don’t understand how the first reaction from leadership isn’t “This is an impeachable offense. My colleagues must defund Hegseth and begin drafting articles immediately.”

Like, even if it doesn’t get done, how are you not planting this flag in the ground immediately?

Tonight, the President of the United States has launched an unconstitutional war of aggression, dooming another generation to spill their blood for oil, and lay waste to a sovereign nation.

I demand that Congress exercise its power, halt this conflict, and impeach this war criminal president.

Japan is about to reach the New Year. Buddhist temples will ring 108 bell chimes to scare away the worldly “passions” that plagued humankind such as greed and envy.

May there bells reach the US!

(And can we witchy types join in the ritual here at our midnight? We so need some bell magic here.)

Remember: The oligarchs who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us so they can become more powerful.

They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone.

Don't fall for it.

Maybe it’s time to stop pinning hopes on rules- based opposition to this administration. I’m tired of the let downs and endless pearl-clutching outrage over their lawlessness, cruelty, and routine obstruction.

Some of the best movies ever made were by Rob Reiner. They made us laugh and think: The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men. And he was a force on screen as well in All in the Family and so many films.

What a tragic loss. Words fail with news like this.
