Today I learned that if you go to the doctor for an annual physical and they ask about your health and you mention any health issue, they can bill you for a second visit on top of your annual for which there should be zero co-pays.

I hope @theguardian.com digs a little deeper into @pnhp.bsky.social and why they chose not to push for the CA single-payer bill AB2200 last year. CA single-payer would lead to Medicare For All. Just like it happened in Canada! Instead PNHP fought for the nothing burger SB770.
Last year PNHP had the opportunity with CalCare AB2200 to take a big step to make national single-payer real, they backed away to give room to insurance friendly incrementalism they now say doesn’t work (SB770).
