Hello, I'm Hazel of Sodor. I sraw art and write fics for TTTE/RWS and ocasional forays into Star Trek.
5700- First of the class, she was saved from her withdrawal in 1956 by the Suddery Railway Museum, which outbid the Krestaen Railway Museum for her.

6771- was purchased from British Railways by the Chester and Holyhead Railway in 1958.

until they were given a home on the Kingsbridge Branchline Preservation Railway.

5775- Sold to London Transport in 1958, sold into preservation on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway in 1970. Made famous by her appearance in ‘The Railway Children.’

She was donated into preservation by the NCB, and now lives on the Llangollen Railway.

5741 Duck-as he appears in my AU, at least in later years.

6779- youngest of the class to be withdrawn, 6779 was hidden away by Caomhnóir ...

L.94 -Sold to London Transport in 1959. Hauled last steam hauled train on the London Underground and was preserved in 1971, she can be found in Tyseley Locomotive Works

7754- Sold to the NCB in 1959, would become the last 5700 in regular non-heritage service by 1975...

by Stephenson Clarke LTD in 1963, later preserved by a member of the Great Western Society at Didcot.

W30 (9630)- purchased by the Denbigh and Wrexham Railway in 1966.

9610-Preserved by the Kingsbridge Branchline Preservation Society in 1966

27005 Minerva and 27006 Pandora-were purchased by the Chester and Holyhead Railway.

27000 Electra-is preserved on the Midland Railway-Butterly.

27001 Ariadne-is preserved at the Science and Industry Musuem in Manchester.

27002 Aurora and 27003 Diana-were preserved in the Netherlands, but are currently on Long Term Loan to the London New Eastern Railway.

Tonight's new engine, a very late birthday gift to @tigerhawk7109 the British Railways class 77/EM2! These electric locomotives were built for the Woodhead Line. Irl these were sold to the Netherlands in 1979, but things played out a bit differently in my AU.

Eventually, a small group of rebels found it, looking for any ship that flew. A Fledgling Republic Shipyard poured over her, an old forgotten frame, but filled with modern tech. She was relaunched and finally Christened R.R.W. Osprey. No longer a testbed, but a defender of her people.

The mothball yard was abandoned in the chaos, and for years she was left to sit silent in the dark. It seemed an long, unending fate for the ship, but not *everyone forgot the existance of the yard.

She would serve quietly, used to test tech for the new warbirds, and later test upgrades for them without risking the incredibly expensive behemoths. She was eventually stored in Mothballs, and forgotten.
