A 1 year fix, renegotiated annually, ensures we still slowly slide into poverty. 👊🏼
A real leader would demand a 10 yr extension on ACA subsidies!
I’ve had it with flaccid leadership and 15minute fixes. Say the words and sort this shit out now.
The ACA subsidies expire 12/31.

Legislation by Jen Kiggans (R-Va.) would extend the credits 1 year. It has support of 14 other Republicans.

Hakeem Jeffries petition now has 212 of 218 required signatures.

The Senate was promised a vote on this - within the next 10 days.

Just do it !!

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

But you didn’t. And now thousands of Americans will die from lack of healthcare. Time to #chuckChuck from leadership.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

It's not immigrants increasing your rent, denying your healthcare claims, and increasing the cost of your groceries. It's corporations. It's billionaires. It's bought, corrupt politicians.

It's time we reject politics of division and fight together for policies that put working people first.
