For det første håper jeg jo at hun går av på grunn av at hun forstår at hun har gjort feil, ikke på grunn av belastninga. For det andre har jeg fått litt nok av at så mange prøver å få det til å handle om at det er synd på disse folka. Vi må nesten få reagere sterkt som samfunn, både folk og presse.

Søreide vedgår lørdag kveld at UD ikke satte i gang egne undersøkelser da hun håndterte Epstein-varselet om Rød-Larsens tankesmie i 2019. Selv om hun er venninne med hans ektefelle Mona Juul, så ikke Søreide seg som inhabil da UD sparket ballen til FBI.
