We closed the curtain near their cat tree and the cats have taken it very personally.

I gave up around question #3 😂😂😂 I’m having SUCH a bad ADHD day. I got like 5 points over three pages of questions.

I started doing poorly on the quiz so I started writing funny answers. This was my favorite. #SherlockHolmes #3GAR

So this is to say there’s now a smoking bit of aluminum foil with burnt cheese clinging to it on the lawn, in the snow and that’s how my morning’s going.

Sooooo set off the fire alarm making breakfast. Couldn’t reset the damned thing either, after the fire was out. I wanna say…my husband sure took his time coming down stairs. Had this been a real emergency, the cy would have definitely emerged.

Just…checking my socials to the sound of cats chewing plastic.

It’s humbling and depressing to realize how highly replaceable you are in every aspect of your life.

I’m super bummed tonight. Not even Biscuit’s little paw on my cheek is cheering me up.
February 14, 2026 at 2:30 AM
Today’s the day. I got the menorah out of my purse finally.
February 14, 2026 at 12:32 AM
There are two more Heated Rivalry books I have not read yet but I need to learn my lines and songs for the Purim Shpiel 😭😭😭 I will have to wait until Purim is over. Alas. A tragic development.

Hadta pay the ADHD tax on something today and it makes me mad.

I think… they’re just pissed they can’t charge for the air we breathe and that’s why there’s such a rush to defang the EPA and destroy the air. They want to sell us clean air.

I don’t understand why the other cats are like 83% normal and Biscuit is 97% menace and 3% plastic.
February 13, 2026 at 2:36 AM
*screaming* This book just came in. Just in time for Purim. Look how adorable.
February 12, 2026 at 5:14 PM
Biscuit is being super-sweet this morning, like he hasn’t spent the last two days choosing violence.
February 12, 2026 at 12:04 PM
Biscuit is running all over, chasing his tail, and beating on the windows like we’re holding him hostage. Hint: we are. The other cats are just watching him like he’s lost his mind and he may have.

In case you ever thought the right gave a shit about Jews. Spoiler: they do not.
February 12, 2026 at 1:58 AM
Loooong day. Come home to the cats being menaces, their menace-leader. Biscuit, on the forefront of menacing by getting his little face in my food.

The average publication date of the 5 titles mentioned in this post is 2002. Why are books that have been on the shelves for more than 2 decades being yanked now? Because of a coordinated effort by far-right Christian nationalists to manufacture outrage for political gain. Learn more here.

Saying “the only disability is a bad attitude” to us and holding up high-achieving disabled people to compare us to is one reason we have a higher rate of being suicidal/committing suicide. We work so hard just to get up to the starting line of this race called life and it’s not honored. 1/3
Autistic people are lectured by those around us about our “work ethic” or “need to overcome our disabling elements.”

This constant and deliberate gaslighting and verbal oppression is driving people to burnout, to isolation, to taking their own lives.

There are liberals and even leftists who for years disparaged the QAnon/pizzagate code-word conspiracies as nonsense and are now doing the exact same thing, falling for obvious bullshit and antisemitism, and it's really, really disheartening.
