i think the big hurdle for a lot of artists making the move from twt to here is perceiving less likes as less human engagement. but actually the opposite is true: you're more likely to get human reception here than on [the corpse of] twitter, because the high amount of bots = artificial likes

i'm home for christmas ("home" in quotes, i'm in a hotel room while my family's house gets rebuilt) and both my younger brothers are taller than me. one of them is 15, looks older than me, and towers above me and my stepdad. i am 5'10" and hate it so this is very gender affirming for me tbh
