Oh great, with The Ashes just days away, our strike bowlers keep breaking down. With Pat out for the first test, now Josh Hazelwood is under a cloud

Between our quicks & theirs (Joffra Archer & Mark Wood) this series might come to be known as 'The Battle of the Dodgy Hammies & Suspect Shoulders'.

Truth
APRA's previous interventions requiring banks to restrict investor loans made a huge difference in 2014-18 & resulted in more loans for owner occupiers & saw some of the most stable house price growth in Australia over the past 30 yrs. We’ve done it before and we can do it again.

From Microsoft's recent filings and the hit it reported on its stake in OpenAI, it is fair to surmise that OpenAI lost around USD $12.5b in the last quarter. 🤷‍♂️

In other words, give back some of the revenue raised from these very same people via tariffs; an economic sleight-of-hand.
DONALD TRUMP SAYS THAT AMERICANS WITH MIDDLE AND LOWER INCOMES WILL RECEIVE A $2000 DIVIDEND PAID FOR BY REVENUE FROM TARIFFS. 💵🇺🇸

I'm sorry but the fact that the NSW Police Commissioner is under the pump re the NSN rally at the steps of their Parliament has much to do with the slogan on display.

Had it said 'Migrants out' or 'Australia for the white man', he wouldn't be being grilled by Sarah Ferguson right now.

The United States has dropped from 30th to 48th in that same year, the biggest drop of any nation BY FAR. Its reputation-peers are now Kuwait, Algeria, Kazakhstan…

'Vibe coding' named word of the year by Collins Dictionary.

Um, that's two words, which in my estimation makes it a phrase instead.

So Zohran #Mamdani has forebears who left India 200 years ago for a British colony (Uganda), a few decades before mine.

A reminder, if it's needed, that people like us are here (in Western nations) because imperial colonisers were there (in Eastern ones).

And no, we're not 'fresh off the boat'. 🤷‍♂️
