2 roos trailside. I ring my bell way early. They look up. I wave. Acknowledged.
They need only stay still & I'll take a wide birth round.
Yet as I near they panic & hop into my path, forcing me to lock the rear to avoid a crash.

Just chillin at my local food court & a sweet Nona (or possibly Yaya) cleaner asked if I'd like my container taken.
I declined cos I deal with my own rubbish.
But it's a reminder of the (often thankless) work that thousands of migrants do every day, so that local-born Australians don't have to.
