Tried to get an essay posted for the end of the year only to learn that overdraft shenanigans bounced the payment to keep my website alive. I guess if the person who wants working class poets to exist would like to commission a sestina on the experience, you'll be able to read the essay in 2026.

The detransition/pray-the-gay-away bullshit is only going to get more popular as our society regresses into Christian conservatism; if you're a trans/queer person who is happy in their own skin, you should feel free to ignore it. Pity the folks who get sucked in, but it's not your problem.

No disrespect to the OP, but this isn't congruent with the poets and working writers i know. Trans folks write about being working class all the time, and if we got platformed in the publishing world more people would be aware of that. We can't be a corrective to a system that does not value us.

I often think about the white guy who came to talk to my MFA workshop. He managed to get his graduate thesis published by the third agent he queried with zero prior publications under his belt. He explained that his SECOND book was struggling to get sold because of "diversity quotas." What a peach.

Made a real good xmas gift i wanna show off. They are a huge Sabrina Carpenter fan so i made them a cute little joint case out of an old tin, one million stickers and some printed elements. I colored Sabrina in with acrylic markers using the technique they used to do to paint anime cells. Pleased!
