A regular of mine.
The sweetest Abyssinian boy.
Poor thing is wearing a cone at the moment.

Every year, (right through to January) I moan about it getting dark at 4 p.m.
This year I'm switching it up by blaming my son for the darkness, because he was born in the winter.
Random, "This is your fault, dark December child" each time he appears looking for food.

Christmas is coming
The goose is getting fat
How about a silly card
The features the word twat?

And if that doesn’t
float your boat
There’s jaws and Luke and shit
I know it’s early to flog cards
But I’m just that kind of tit...

To avoid descent into madness.
Sing to your cat. (or dog) or both, or just sing. (while trying not to laugh)
November 11, 2025 at 10:42 AM
I saw a post about pre and post singing to your cat.
Can't remember account.
Please tag them if you know.
Anyway, this is James, my plump tuxedo boy before and when I sang to him.
He seemed to enjoy the singing.

My son brought this turnip home yesterday.
Would make a half-decent murder weapon in an emergency.

On a bleak day, here's some light and cheer. ☀️

Episode 144 - Garden beside meadow (36 mins)

Sit in this garden and imagine the sun and light breeze on your skin. Hear birds all around.

Imagine not having a cat in your life?

Later this week we will have hot water and heating again.
That is if the gas leak repair goes ahead as planned.
The issues around this are causing me pocket sized amounts of stress.
I need to keep reminding myself that life is too short to be worrying like I do.

My living room windows are open.
It is still freakishly mild here in London.
The evening air smells fresh.
Pollution levels are low.
Apart from random bangs from fireworks, it's a beautiful evening.
