Little digital art bokeh pointillism exercise. Might turn this into a large 1.5m x 1m canvas. Quite like how moody it turned out.
Dark blue background with a multicolour of car headlights, street lights, shop window lights, adverts, etc. all represented as circles of equal size, simulating the out-of-focus bokeh effect of a camera.

A cool thing, just acquired: Filmo light meter from Bell & Howell; WAG- early 1930s. Made by Weston in England, the Filmo Exposure Meter was marketed to the film industry as well as pros and upper class public who were recording their lives.

It's an actinometer, that uses light sensitive paper.
Late 1920s, early 1930s actinometer light meter made by Weston and marketed in the US by Bell & Howell. It works about as efficiently as the new-fangled light meters, but you do need to keep the paper disks dry ond out of the light. Called the FIlmo here because B&H had a line of cameras and projectors with that name. Outside cover of Instruction booklet that fits in approx 3" X 4" box Text: Instructions Exposure meter for the Filmo CIne Camera Bell and Howell Comapny 1801-15, Larchmont Ave. Chicago Also New York and Hollywood Printed in England Small brown box Text: Exposure meter for the Filmo CIne Camera Bell and Howell Comapny 1801-15, Larchmont Ave. Chicago Also New York and Hollywood Instructions enclosed Made in England THere is a square in the bottom left corner for placing a price, but that is blank and instead the camera shop wrote, in pencil under the top words, $2.75-- about $50 in 2025 dollars
