(He was an awesome live performer and an all around generous fellow who will be missed for sure).

After last evening's event of Martini-appreciation and pontification, I summarized a lifetime's worth of happy hour know-how into this list (I kept it to ten but could've went on😉).
You can make your own. 🍸🍸

These food influencers sure do love their hot honey, balsamic glaze and “Special Sauces”. All three of which, I can do without.

Happy for Pete Alonso, who now sits alone at the top of the NY Mets all-time home run list!

Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.

I do prefer @handlebarsnyc.bsky.social’s spec:

1 ½ ounces gin, preferably Old Tom
1 ounce sweet vermouth
¼ ounce fresh lime juice
¼ ounce maraschino liqueur

Although previously mentioned, can all the social media bar folk please refrain from squeezing your juice from the hand-press directly into the jigger during your presentations? Simply juice pre-show and pour from a spouted vessel of your choice. Thank you.
