The cut scene featuring a bit part played by director, John Milius, made me laugh when I first saw it years ago and it still does. He plays the "lizard-on-a-stick" merchant. That in itself is funny, but John's "acting" is amusingly bad (by his own admission).

In approximately 24 hours, I turn 52. I'll go with saying 2025 has been an awful year. It did at least come with some clarity.
I've decided to completely veg out and watch stuff on the TV. No errands, tasks, or responsibilities, and grateful for a small break.

I don't dare think I can speak effectively on the topic, but from an outside, casual observer I like how they've included Native American culture in the show, The Last Frontier. Including use of the language and how many times it looks like they just brought local people into the cast.

There are some really fun documentaries on Tubi about genre films of the 80's that are 4-5 hours each. I've seen tons of behind the scenes stuff before but these had a few things I never knew, like the "wubwub" sound of the probe in Star Trek 4 being Nimoy, modulated.
