Update:

The hacker has given up and has stopped trying to impersonate me. I have not recovered my account, though I believe we're at the point where this thing has run it's course. I'll be reaching out to folks in the next few days, and post a return to stream date soon!

I have played 126... dang that's a terrible score.
I often catch a lot of flak in the YouTube comments on how few games I've played when Jon and I discuss them. So I counted out of the 502 finalists, how many I've played.

Turns out: 289!

I'd call that pretty good!

But how about you? docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

Started Mass Effect for a 2nd time. 3 years ago, I was much less exposed to CRPGs, and didn't really get into the game, and it took more more than 1.5 hours just to get out of the first world. I was much faster this time around, even after I got lost for a bit. Here's hoping I finally get the hype.

Returning from a long vacation, gonna start a long one, getting into Z-A, selecting Chikorita as the starter of choice. While Arceus was one of my favourite games on the switch, I have heard less good things about this one. I liked SV as it was though, so let's see if this one pleases me as well.

With a long trip coming up, I decided to start on a game that wasn't too difficult to pick up after I get back, both gameplay and plot wise. Enter Legend of Mana, a game I played in my childhood but never finished (I was a button masher). It's been a ton of fun thus far, given its openendedness.

Did a quick playthough of Bastion for the first time while looking for my next long game. Fun, quick game that was pretty easily finished in 4.5 hours. You can see the hints of Hades in this early SGG game, and while not as fun as Hades, it is much easier for a casual player to play till the end.

Now that I'm 5 hours in, I can say I've also started Fallout 3 as a primary game. Being such a hot fav, I had to make sure I was at least going to like the game enough to play though alot of it, and so far, I has been a really fun time. Play a mostly lawful playthough as I begin my CRPG era.

Starting on Chroma Squad, a TRPG with the plot revolving around the characters being the ACTORS of a Super Sentai/Power Rangers studio. The main aim is to shoot a good season of the show, intentionally making stunts or make sure certain plot elements happen. Fairly charming game thus far.

Started the OG Secret of Mana as a side game for when I do not have access for my PC. The only Mana game I have ever played to a decent level was Legend of Mana on the PS1, and had never finished it, so I'm excited to play the the one that launched its popularity to the level it has today

I really wanna join him LOL

Heading back to Japan with Kiryu-chan and his antics in Yakuza 5, moving away from Kamurocho once again. The poor dude just can't catch a break and keeps getting pulled back into the business. I have heard this is one of the longest adventures in Kiryu's journey, so it's good to finally start on it

Started Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2, sequel to a TRPG involving a bunch of furry kids controlling a tank in a faux war-torn Europe environment. While the original wasn't amazing, it was a solid 20 hour playthough with a decent amount of challenge, alongside relationship building amongst the kids.

Been on a bit of a retro mood lately, so I've started on Illusion of Gaia, a fairly popular ARPG on the SNES. It has been a ton of fun based on the few hours I've put into it, and it even feels a bit dark for a game of that era. Liking what I see so far.

Starting a remaster of a remake, Star Ocean: First Departure R gave plenty of Tales of Eternia vibes, but has yet to really impress plot wise after about 90 mins of playing. Let's see where it goes going forward

Finished Halo:CE for the first time. As a person that isn't good at FPS, and does not enjoy it, that was honestly a hell of a time, even if I had to play on easy. The one exception was that ending sequence, given how awful the driving is in the game. I will get back to the rest of the series one day

I started Nier Replicant as my primary game of choice. So far, it certainly feels like the game before Automata. Combat is less smooth, though plot has been interesting. Characters have not grown on me the way 9S and 2B have yet, but we shall see. Music and world is still great though.

Did a playthough of The Roottrees are Dead, a fascinating mix of Her Story and Return to the Obra Dinn, in which you are basically given google to search for keywords to determine the family tree of a prominent family that had just passed away. Was a really fun time, highly recommended.

Going on a short trip for a wedding, so I've decided to pick up FF Mystic Quest while on the move. Never played it, but have heard and seen things about it that aren't fantastic, but hey, I just played a game where I took nearly 10 hours of a 28 hour game on the final boss, so easy game it is.

Started on a couple of hours of FF13-2, and the initial impressions of the game were marred by terrible tech issues, from an endlessly buzzing sound to crashes and just an all round poor experience. The initial plot has also been weird, but let's see if getting around those tech issues are worth it.
