Just to show the difference. The Wallabies are defeated by Italy and hardly a mention in the media. The Socceroos are defeated by Venezuela in a friendly and is a disaster.

Article by Jake Niall about AFL ‘greatest challenge’.Unlike European migrants in the 60’s/70’s, recent ones from India and China are not much interested in Aussie Rules. Indians are really into cricket instead. Not a great discovery that migrants tend to stick with the sport of their culture

Victoria isn’t broke, its net assets are actually increasing

The reason it’s spending more than it’s collecting at present is it’s in the middle of massive infrastructure upgrades

The BCA is calling for more infrastructure and complaining about its cost..ffs

Don’t hobble Victoria with complaints about taxes, debt and deficit
Big business never tires of saying taxes are bad, yet those same companies thrive on the very services taxes pay for.

As someone living in Australia I am not going to engage with USA BlueSky people about Democrats who have sided with Republicans to stop the shutdown. But from what I read many are blaming the whole Democratic Party, which is unfair as I think most Democrats are pissed off at those who have buckled.

What happened to Atalanta? I am not a supporter. I wasn't born in Bergamo, but I grew up there and I have a soft spot for the town's team. Just a couple of years ago, they were doing well in European competitions and were in the top part of Serie A.

It looks like the centrist, liberal, D66 party will form the next government of The Netherlands, as support for the far right party PVV falls.

The PVV will probably have the same number of seats as D66, but no other major party is willing to work with it.
