This is a good move but those of us who struggled through this on time deserve a fancy badge ribbon at the next conference where badge ribbons are a thing

It is unspeakably awful
If you are submitting an NIH grant in February, you will be required to use SciENcv to prepare you biosketch.

IT IS MUCH WORSE THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE.

Set aside *at least* 4 hours just to transfer an existing an biosketch into SciENcv.

It's Alzheimer's, of course. ☹️

Ranking the rebuilt LGA at #49 is an outrage. It's easily top 5 now. MSN is also underrated at #39, it's definitely top 10. wapo.st/4oUSaHc

3. The POs for NIGMS and NIA have been phenomenal (as well as NIBIB, which is an aspiration for us). They have been very calm and reassuring, even as I know that their individual lives are very challenging. We are very lucky to have these staff and should be fighting for them whenever possible. 4/n

Ok Teams is a disaster but honestly I really like the new Factor 1/Factor 2 review rubric. Much cleaner discussions, more focused on the science and outcomes, and clear boundaries for the SRO/chair to enforce.
The way NIH's Teams meetings sporadically mute audio between random pairs of participants is a marvel of government efficiency. Bravo on the move away from a reliable videoconf platform, a decision I'm sure was made after consulting with the affected CSR staff.
