Orange County—Westminster City Council voted 4-1 to re-designate All American Way as Charlie Kirk Way.

UPDATE: A federal judge denied ex-Anaheim Chamber of Commerce CEO Todd Ament's attempt to withdraw from his plea deal in connection w/ the FBI's political corruption probe.

But his sentencing hearing has been pushed to Dec. 12, in part, to consider the chamber's push for victim status in the case.

I wonder if a lot of couples who want to start a family but can’t afford it will move to New Mexico on account of this.

The state is not densely populated. There could be a number of impacts.

This anarchist critique of Jacqueline Jones’ biography of Lucy Parsons always made me chuckle.

In all my Mexican life, I’ve never met a Mexican woman named Lucía.

They exist, for sure, but the name is far more popular in Italian…the heritage of Parsons’ purported enslaver and possible father.
