There's a high probability they were just like you once.

I tried this 4 years ago and it's insane how my yard now has patches of clover everywhere except the corner where I originally planted it.
going to try and convert my entire yard to clovers

Ebony and Ivory. Two great musicians combining all their talents to create an absolutely unlistenable dirge.
Fuck your favourite song. Tell me your least favourite song. The one that makes you die inside the moment you hear the first 3 seconds.

The song I hear a lot that I can do without is My Sharona. No I lie, it's Beautiful Day by U2, but the worst song ever made is 'Ebony and Ivory', Two great artists combining on the worst release in both their catalogs. Fortunately I don't hear it much.
Dropped it in a couple of group chats, so why not here (verbatim):

Question: If you could eliminate one song from existence (don't pussy out and pick an artist or genre), what song would it be?

This made me think of Dean Saunders who was very successful at Aston Villa after a single season in Liverpool. Dean scored 9 European goals for Liverpool, in only 5 games. heck of a stat that. Always liked him. Glad he did well at Villa.
🏆 European Milestone Incoming.

Ollie Watkins has scored 9 goals in European competitions for Aston Villa — currently tied with Peter Withe.

He needs just ONE more goal to become the first player in Villa's history to score 10+ goals in Europe. 🔥

This is niche, but it deserves more love.
Surely when Freddie Mercury was living on his own, he would have had MORE time for monkey business?

I keep reading comments like this, but which fans are they seeing? My timeline is 95% or more either wishing him well or just shrugged shoulders cause we've known this was coming for months.
Also, Guaranteed the people mad at him now would have been mad at the club if they sold him last summer.
The reaction of Liverpool fans to the Alexander-Arnold news has been nothing short of unhinged. I know several Liverpool fans in real life and they are all lovely people — but as a whole, the club in general has to have the most entitled, self-obsessed fanbase in football. #LFC

Tickets for @tomrobinson.com in Liverpool in Oct. went on sale today & I bought a pair. We'll be over from Canada to see the show. Ostensibly in the UK to visit family, but dates of the visit were planned around the show. Been a while since I saw Tom live. I was single then, my kids are married now.

Always a fun exercise… if you had to submit 20 teams to make up what your heart tells you is the platonic ideal of who the Premier League should include, what are you sending over?
The Premier League feels more complete for having Leeds in it.

I'm probably missing the joke here, but how Liverpool got it's name is unclear. The spelling has changed numerous times over the past 800+ years. Most likely it refers to a muddy pool, (liuerpul) but it could also be named after the large number of eels that were native to the area. (elferpul).
Many English towns take the names from important geographical features: Oxford, for example, is at place where oxen could safely ford the river. Plymouth is at the mouth of the River Plym. Newport is easy enough to figure.

Liverpool, unfortunately also

This
I will never understand why people get so agitated about transfers during the season. Can they not just enjoy being top of the league? Winning #20?
They can't enjoy it because we're not linked with Billy The Fish and Roy Race. They'd rather be proved right than win a trophy. It's weird. #LFC
So Arne and Virgil both talk about summer signings and now my TL is full of tedium.

I understand the Arse fans being frustrated this season, I don't get why they think anything LFC have done is relevant to their current position and would cause this sort of reaction.
f*ck this season & f*ck liverpool

honestly hope they get wrecked by injuries for years to come

The most famous is probably Matt Damon, but for me, the coolest was Phil Lynott who was happy to chat with a 20 year old fan about leather trousers and gave me a beer.

Rewatching The Expanse before it disappears off Prime and noticed Anchorage was now an island in something called The Yukon Archipelago. With everything going on between Canada and the US right now, I'm thinking some time in the fairly near future is when that happened.

Went to see #JustForOneDay in Toronto at the weekend. It's fabulous, go see it when this show and this cast moves to the West End in May. Shout out to the swing who scanned my ticket on the way in and was on stage singing Heroes 35 minutes later. Pretty sure I'm right about that.
