something tricky i have to do is pack up the zine factory and much of the bits and pieces of my office to put them into the attic for a while. i need calm space more than access to these things: i haven’t made a zine since i was pregnant, and this isn’t the season for a home studio.

sorry to be like ~oh my husband understands me but for my birthday cb got me a pair of chelsea peers pajamas with sacred hearts on them, a hobonichi journal and ways of seeing by john berger. i have been truly and completely witnessed in my self by this man and i welcome 38 and all it has to offer

it’s 6am. snuffy is sick so bigbird and luis are visiting him in his cave. luis is reading a story about the number five in spanish. outside it is pitch dark. it has become very clear to me suddenly that the baby is a toddler now. she is mostly playing with her blocks but tv really cuts the silence

the disparity in how i feel about Sesame Street characters is very profound. i want to nurture and care for big bird and snuffy but elmo and zoe unfortunately have to be returned to the animal shelter asap
