Interesting. Based on these comments, it seems that viewpoint is still entrenched in university setting. It will change if we encourage more discussion about careers outside academia.

I went from finishing my PhD, straight to the private sector and have thoroughly enjoyed my job for the last 19 years. There are so many opportunities outside academia, but I agree, non-academic #careers are not really discussed inside of academia. #AcademicSky π§ͺ

I'm always interested to hear what other tools people are using, and I'm curious what your writing workflow is. What apps are you using? Are you writing your articles directly in the Ghost editor or using another writing app like IA Writer or Ulysses?

We saw lots of butterflies, moths, and dragonflies out at sea. Thereβs definitely a lot of insect activity out there.
