Just in time for my favorite season of the year, here's "11 things I've learned about being a ghost."

It's about house hauntings, our relationships with folks who've passed on, and ways we can heal.

Just experienced the most intense tear gassing of my life by federal officers outside the ICE facility in Portland where marchers gathered. There was no fast exit as they indiscriminately threw loads of gas and flash bangs. Children were in the crowd screaming. @oregoncapitalchronicle.com

I wasn't there for skeet's canonical moment and this is probably my southern showing, but y'all do know skeet shooting is like an existing, established thing, right? I just keep picturing clay pigeons bursting into pieces in midair when I read it.

Never forget that the people who convinced you trans people are a threat to your children all belong to a network of child rapists.

I will not be watching season three.
The band scene? Uh, yeah—this shit is ridiculous. It's beyond on the nose, it's way over the top. It's like they had to make Lumon seem completely wacky relative to real world corporate cults. The most surreal thing should have been the severance procedure, that's the season one hook.
Got an Apple TV free trial and decided to watch Severance. I get it, but I don't like it. Season two feels like someone caved to feedback that they needed to cult it up more so it's not so obvious that the real cult is capitalism itself.

You really shoulda said it.
I may have a stroke.

Someone said protests don’t belong in church and it took every ounce of self-censure within me not to say “Deborah you are literally a Protestant.”

A PROTESTant.

I assume they think Luther was nailing Bed, Bath, & Beyond coupons to the door.

Yeah.
Controversial take but I think we need to be okay with people being a little performative at first when it comes to activism, especially if they admit they’re trying to learn. I prefer people start somewhere over nowhere at all. Shaming doesn’t help.

CNN in Minneapolis: We are seeing thousands and thousands of people, we've been standing on the corner here for the past ten minutes. This this crowd has not let up. It's just continuous.

It doesn't get much lazier than this.

First, there have been links to this news for several hours, like this one from CNN, which was published BEFORE AltNPS said there were "no links."

Happy to see a traffic stopping crowd at 31 Hopkins today. Disgusted that this ICE concentration site exists so near the holocaust memorial.
31 Hopkins Plaza. Baltimore. 2 p.m. today. Protest verified by several orgs.

The roads aren't ideal, but I know this city will make an effort to stand in solidarity with Minneapolis.

Just like T*yl*r Sw**t.
Her political beliefs are clear as day, honey. The supremacy of the Aryan race is what she's all about. It's in what she says & doesn't say about what gets made of her.
Don't expect Sydney Sweeney to discuss her political beliefs anytime soon: The actress says she's 'here to make art' and 'not here to speak on politics.'

I don't get the Hell House, LLC movies because where I grew up "hell house" meant a church production where room by room they take you through the horrors of sins like pre-marital sex, AIDS, and abortion, all of which apparently take you straight to hell.

If I see a thin blue line sticker on your car at this point, I assume you are a police collaborator or worse. So I'm taking your license plate down.

I mean, I guess you can call big oil. I hear they don't answer the weather complaint line for less than $100K in lobbying money, though.
12 is a time, not a temperature, you should demand to speak to the weather's manager
